It is raining outside. The rain drops fall on the ground silently. I can see the tiny water drops dripping down from the window and tree leaves.
I love rainy and humid weather. Since it is raining, you have nothing to do but open the window and enjoy the fresh air coming into your room.
Today is a good day!
The rain was heavy yesterday night. It finally stoped this morning.
The air is fresh and the temperature is not high. A good day!
I wanted to play badminton with my friends this afternoon. I haven't played for quite some time, i also miss them
When i arrived at the badminton court, my friends were playing already. I joined them. I am not a good player, but i like doing sports. I love the feeling of sweating all over. My sports shirt were soaked very soon, but i did not stop playing till three hours later.
I love playing badminton not only because i can be healthier by doing sports, but also because i can get to know a lot of friends. Friends are sometimes more important than the sports itself.
My friends, do you like doing sports? Do you like playing badminton?
Do I love sports? Yes. I went to see the Manchester United game last night. It was a 'scrappy' game, but it was good to go and see something live.
I'm not very good at Badminton, but do like to play tennis. I think your weblog is excellent, and hope that you will continue to post some more diary accounts.
Ed.
Hi, ED. I know football and tennis are quite different. Very few people like both football and tennis. I also like playing tennis, although just a beginner. I also knew from the newspaper that in the scrappy game the Manchester football stars swore dirty words. Thanks for you attention. i will keep on writing my dairies.
Do you have to face such a situation? i work for a big organization in China. Although it is a very famous one, but i find that the company does not show much respect to its employees at all. (店大欺客)
Presently, the company decides to reduce the employees' salary without any reasonable reasons. I feel very disappointed. But i keep on working there because the company provides me a good background.
I want to seek a new jobs, even it is a smaller one. I think the employer should respect its employees. I want to work in a pleasant environment.
What is your idea?
hello:
i am still a student now,but maybe face the same situation as u in the near future,,
as i think what is important is wheather it is worth working there.do u feel happy??
because in my world,.,,i think happy is most important....if the environment let me feel unsatified , i would rather to quit.
I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling low about your work Panda. I agree that a company needs to respect it's employees.
Try and go for a job that you enjoy doing, as it does lead to a much happier life, and remembner to keep that work life balance.
I think Sophie has given great advice!
Ed.
First of all, i would give my thanks to Sophie and Ed for your kind advice.
Today, my bicycle was stolen. It is my fourth bicylcle stolen. I felt very sad because it is a brandnew bike, very beautiful. My friends call it Bluebird, for it is tiny, blue and shiny.
I went to the gym tonight by my bike. I just put it downstairs inside the building where the gym is upstair.
When i went out, i could not find it. It was obviously stolen! My friends tried to help me find it, but our efforts were in vain.
God! I lost four bicycles! Shall i buy another one? You know it is really convenient to have a bicycle at home.
Do you also have such experience of losing a bike? Hope not.
i'm sorry to hear that/
i also have such an experience like u....from that i never ride a new one to public places.
i think u can try to use an old one.
maybe that'll be safe.
I bought a new bicycle soon after i lost my last one. It is a smaller one so that i can easily take it into the room. I also bought a very strong lock. When i am out, i will lock the bike on something firm and rigid, in case it will be take away.
The weather in Beijing was fine for the last week. The sky was crystally clean and clear. I have been in Beijing for quite some years, but i was amazed by the good weather of last week. I know it owes to the measures taken to protect the enviroment of Beijing, for the 2008 Olympics.
Today the weather is hot and humid again. When is the fall coming? I can not wait....
Hi!
Panda-bj! Your name is very interesting! Do you very like it 'panda'? I have never see the real panda, I think it is very cute!
Bicycle, yeah! In china maybe everyone have themselves own bicycle, but I have not! Go to school and go to work both use it, because it is very convenient and low-coast! I have not the experpence that the bicycle was stolen, but my many friends like you in every place!
I think you are very feeling with your bicycles, so you are so sad! but you are not the best miserable. Nowaday it is not bicycle, the mobile telephone, money, etc!! Bear in mind next time you will becarefull!
The weather is hot and humid, I hope your mood is free from worry and relaxed, then you will happy to work and everything will be better! By the way, your "diary" is not "dairy"!! 'Dairy' means “牛奶公司,乳品店,乳牛场”,can you explain? Maybe I don't know what you want to say!!!!
I thought i could write dairies, but in fact it is not an easy thing to write daily diaries. Let me just call them random diaries
Here is a speech written by me. Hope you will like it.
Save water
Can you imagine what your life will be, if you can only drink and use one bottle of water for a whole day. Have you ever experienced such living condition? Maybe not, because we have taken it for granted that whenever we turn on the tap, the water will come out endlessly.
But the other day, i watched a TV program and knew that some ones in China are still suffering from the shortage of water.
This is a real story. It happens in a poverty stricken area in north west China. And the heroine is a teenage girl. Every week, she has to go out with her mum to get some water from a river far from her home. It will take them three hours to go and come back. Although it is really hard to get the water, the water doesn't taste good at all, a little bit salty and bitter, and doesn't look transparent at all. Even though, she can only take one bottle of water to her school in the morning, because there is no drinking water at her school at all. When I was watching this naive girl taking a bottle of precious water walking on the way to her school. My eyesight got blurred. I could not help thinking a lot.
All people are born equal. But to this extent, it is not the truth at all. Some of the people are more equal than others.
China is developing very fast. During the process of development, the cities have occupied and wasted a large portion of the water resources. Because of the increasing number of the factories, the pollution destroyed the ecosystem of both rural and urban areas. Since the rivers and the lakes are disappearing, it makes the lives even harder for the people in the remote areas, just like the village where the little girl lives. And it has already affected the lives of the people in the cities. The industrialization and theunsustainalbe development will be responsible for this. But the tragedy will repeat and expand, if we do not take any effective actions from now no. Sooner or later, people living in the cities will have to face the same awkward situation. One bottle of water each day.
continue...
This is not a joke. How much water have you wasted every day? Do you still remember? Take me as an example, besides the necessary drinking water, every morning, when i take a shower, i would like to wash a little bit longer. When i wash clothes, i would rinse the clothes for another and another time. A lot of unecessary water were used by me when i was cooking, washing hands and faces. I felt ashamed. I think it is time to change some of my habbits now.
Here i would like to give you a statistics figure. The occupation of the water resources by per person in China only equals to 1/4 of the average water resources occupation per person in the world. There is no reason for the Chinese people to waste any water. If there is no water, there will be no development; if there is no water, there will be no civilization; if there is no water, there will no life at all.
So, i hope everyone of us, from today, when you are using water, please think of this question. If you were only given one bottle of water for each day, what would your life become?
The end
I remember one sentence like that:if we continue waste water like now, The last drop of water will be our tear. What terrible thing! So saving water is the important thing in our daily life, let's do it together.
panda_bj,so lovely name
I like your article of Save water. It is true that you maybe don't worry about there is no water outflowing from the tap in your house someday in the morning if you live in the city like Beijing. But many other places in our country are not the same case.Local people always impetrate rain.I have watched some TV programme about villagers' beanfeast when raining. We can't image how happy they are when they see the rain dropping to their land.
Everyone has responsibility of saving water.Just do it in your daily life.
Our company is on the second floor. There is no loos in the first floor,so the people in the first floor have to use the loos in the second floor. There are a large amount of people. But after they wash their hands, they are not used to screwing down the the water faucets.I always see the water dropping down.I tight them,if I see that usually.
Everyone is able to save water. It is not difficult if you act
